CE Shepherd manufactures state of the art cellular media to capture water droplets entrained in the exit air stream to reduce drift without significant pressure drop. These "Drift Reduction Units" are available in crossflow and counterflow versions along with nesting and non-nesting versions. Independent tests of CE Shepherd Drift Reduction Units have demonstrated drift rates as low as 0.00045% of the circulating water flow when properly installed, sealed and with air speeds consistent with industry standards for good cooling tower design. Current accessories availabe include a pultruded fiberglass support tray capable of spanning 6' without additional support.
